Exquisite WINE, cute bed and breakfast

One last stop in Vines of Mendoza for a taste of my favorite birthday wine from
Francis Mallman the fabulous restaurant I mentioned last October.

We sampled 4 wines by maker Kaiken.
Did I say it is one of my FAVORITE?

This bed and breakfast, olive oil maker, and winery nestled in Maipu was established in 1889 . Highly recommended by our friends, we went to visit this, but didn't stay over night. It looked like a great place to stay out of the city for a night or two. Their home was it great condition realizing that it was made of adobe. The building below for visitors sits next to their adobe home. Visit their website for some great pictures and details: Finca Vina Maria

Awesome wine made by Famillia Cavagnao from the Finca Vina Maria above. Unfortunately, this one is not exported to the USA. But, you can be sure to buy some there on the farm at a great price with the atmosphere to go with it!

Hundreds of olive trees for the familys olive oil. But don't try to pick an olive fresh off the tree like Randall did and ate it! SOUR. It must go through a special process before is simulates an edible olive or olive oil.
Don't forget, "babel fish" to translate some of the web sites that are linked above. Give it a try.
